Field Operations TechnicianApr 04, 2018

The Field Operations Technician is responsible for conducting field data acquisition with a variety of tools including LiDAR, GPS, survey tools, and unmanned aircraft. Operates in a skilled, responsible, safe, and compliant manner. They take direction from the Operations Manager who provides all information needed to accomplish a mission.  

 

Responsibilities

Represent the company with a professional, positive, can-do attitude.

Operate GPS, RTK, total station, and other data acquisition equipment as necessary.

Conduct data acquisition (LiDAR, imagery, multi-spectral, magnetometer) in a manner that serves the customer requirements and deliver the data to the appropriate personnel at Juniper Unmanned after acquisition.

Maintain a level of readiness and in-depth knowledge on the unmanned aircraft systems being used by Juniper Unmanned.

Maintain the appropriate certifications and qualifications necessary for the operations performed by the company.

Custodian the equipment owned or operated by the company by keeping it secure, safe, and treating it responsibly.

Enter and maintain personal and company records into the Juniper Unmanned operations logging system.

Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience with survey or topographic field data collection.
  • Part 107 certificate or the ability to obtain it before starting work.
  • Understands proper checklist, manual, and SOP use and integration.
  • Demonstrate competency in operational logistics and field operations.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understands record management, flight log management, maintenance log management, and training folder requirements.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Professional Land Survey License.
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in related field. One (1) year of directly related experience will be considered, in lieu of formal education.
  • Previous experience with RC or UAS operations.
  • Understands the full spectrum integration of UAS operations to include Flight planning, compliance, flight coordination, risk mitigation, and flight operations.
  • Understands FAA, ICAO, and host-country policies and regulations.

Marketing CoordinatorAug 27, 2018

The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker. They will be able to conduct insightful market research to establish a marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience and develop content (flyers, blogs, website) to help prospects/customers understand the Juniper Unmanned value proposition. They should be comfortable evaluating the marketing process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes.

 

Responsibilities


• Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations
• Research and develop marketing strategy, and evaluate  strategic success
• Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, to include creation of webinars
• Identify target audiences, objectives, desired outcomes and develop required content for marketing campaigns
• Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
• Manage contracts with 3rd party vendors in support of website development, digital advertising, and content creation
• Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; including reading trade publications.
• Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
• Content development and implementation of the Juniper Unmanned Blog
• Reviews sales proposals

 

Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. 
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience. CIM certification a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills
  • Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills
  • Strong ability to focus on customer/market and take initiative
  • Experience with social media advertising and broad-based digital marketing
  • Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
